Applications Programmers, Programming Services
Be part of a team that designs, codes, and documents GIS & Internet
applications projects. Requirements include: strong Visual Basic. JAVA or C++
programming skills,knowledge of software design and knowledge of GIS
applications is a plus.Minimum B.S. in computer science, geography, planning or related
field. Familiarity with commercial relational database technology and
database APIs also required. Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and
documentation skills.
Windows NT administrator and IIS webmaster
Administrator with webmastering experience on Windows NT 4.0 and IIS
4.0. Familiar with Virtual hosts, TCP/IP, web concepts, HTML, Java and
active server pages. Familiarity with Access and SQL databases is
highly desirable. Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and documentation
skills. Certifications in Win NT is a plus.
Software Developer, Internet Products
Join this new product development team that is responsible for
developing GIS Internet Products. Utilize the newest Internet
technologies to extend the reach of UA2000 software mapping and
analysis tools. This position requires a BS or MS from a strong
computer science/engineering university program, with experience in
VB, C++ and JAVA. Familiarity and interest in GIS applications using
Internet Map server and Avenue programming is a plus. The successful
applicant must have strong communication skills and be able to work
well in a small-team environment.
Application Developers
UA2000's Applications developement group is looking for creative
problem solvers with good software design abilities. Successful
applicants will have exposure to and be required to work with the
entire breadth of UA2000's new software products. They will constantly
have opportunities to influence product design and implementation.
Programming experience in Visual Basic is required.
Java and/or Avenue programming experience, while not
required, is a plus. Internet design and implementation experience is
also desirable, as is application development experience with RDBMS.
Even disposition and intellectual flexibility are greatly prized. Only
